It's safe. The lifetime unlock is tied to your Apple ID, not your device. Sign in with the same Apple ID, install Nopal, and it restores automatically (or tap "Restore purchase" on the paywall). Your app selections and schedules live on the device, so you'll set those up again.
That's by design. A hard block has no early exit and lifts automatically when its timer ends. Delayed-opener (soft) blocks can be opened after a short wait.
